These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Very Good Tools, including the website, downloads, software, plugins, license systems, documentation, and related services. By accessing or using Very Good Tools, you agree to these Terms.

Ownership

Very Good Tools and all related software, code, designs, documentation, branding, and content are owned by the creator of Very Good Tools. You are not buying ownership of the software. You are receiving a limited license to use it under these Terms.

License

While you have valid access, Very Good Tools grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the tools for your own personal or internal business use. This license does not give you ownership of the software or any intellectual property rights.

Patreon Membership Access

Access to Very Good Tools may require an active Patreon membership or other approved access grant. Active members may receive access to current and prior eligible tools, downloads, updates, and license codes according to their membership tier.

If your membership is canceled, expires, is refunded, or payment fails, access to downloads, updates, hosted tools, support, and license validation may be suspended or revoked. Installed tools may include a short offline grace period, but continued use may require active membership validation.

Restrictions

You may not share, sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or transfer your license code; share member-only downloads with non-members; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law; remove copyright, license, or ownership notices; use the tools to break the law or harm others; bypass, disable, or interfere with license validation or access controls; or claim ownership of Very Good Tools or related software.

Updates

Updates may be provided at my discretion. Access to updates may require an active membership. I may change, improve, remove, rename, or discontinue tools or features at any time.

Accounts and License Codes

You are responsible for keeping your account and license codes private. If a license code is leaked, abused, shared, or used suspiciously, I may suspend or revoke that code and issue a replacement at my discretion.

Payments and Refunds

Payments are handled through Patreon or other payment providers. Their payment, billing, and refund terms may also apply. Unless otherwise stated, membership payments provide access for the applicable membership period and do not transfer ownership of any software.

No Warranty

Very Good Tools is provided “as is” and “as available.” I do not guarantee that the tools will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every system, or suitable for every specific purpose. Use the tools at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Very Good Tools and its creator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or damage caused by use or inability to use the tools.

Termination

I may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, share license codes, attempt to bypass access controls, or use the tools in a harmful or unlawful way. Upon termination, your license ends and you must stop using member-only tools.

Feedback

If you send ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feedback, you allow me to use them without restriction or compensation.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. If I make meaningful changes, I will update the date above. Continued use of Very Good Tools after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
